At Hot Bread Kitchen, a strong social mission is supported by delicious food. Their goal is to increase economic security for foreign-born and low-income women and men by means of their culinary workforce and business programs, Project Launch and HBK Incubates.
In order to help pay for the programs and support their members, Hot Bread Kitchen sells the multi-ethnic breads that inspire their bakers and the countries they come from, using primarily local and organic ingredients. As the members of Project Launch and HBK Incubates grow, so too does the variety and breadth of the Hot Bread Kitchen line, preserving a wide span of baking and culinary traditions and techniques, whether it’s how to make a proper bialy or a crisp lavash.
